ALDERO, thanks to it’s
team of software developers, produces and sells
tailor-made software ideal for the management of
every single production phase in the ceramic
industry; starting from the supply of raw materials
to the arrival of the finished product in the
warehouse, throughout the entire production
processes. Our software is based on the storage of
product data through barcodes that helps reduce
transcription time in the system. The input data
flow can be immediately available for reporting and
statistics on every production phase: a powerful
tool able to supply, in anytime, a complete history
of every single piece gone through production.
RAW MATERIALS: This
module helps keep control of the quantity and global
value of the raw materials bought and used to
produce each piece. This is useful to be always
updated on costs and consumption and also to
forecast necessary supply of raw materials.
CASTING: In this
initial production phase on each piece a barcode is
applied and it identifies the piece in the following
production phases. The piece is associated to it’s
mould, electronically identified too, in order to
also keep control of the moulds in production. The
registration is done through a palm held barcode
scanner and it automatically inputs important data
such as: cast date and time, operator name, model,
number of casts made by the moulds, machine name
where the mould is mounted.
CHECKING: The finishing
stage is a checkpoint where the pieces are checked
and selected as good to continue or to discard
indicating the reason.
GLAZING: Also this
stage, like Finishing, is a transition point where
the pieces are checked and selected as good to
continue or to discard indicating the reason.
FIRING – KILN EXIT: At
the kiln exit, each operator has a terminal where he
registers the fired pieces. To each piece a choice
is applied and any eventual defects are registered
as also the name of the operator, date and time. At
the end of the production cycle, there is also the
possibility to transfer the production data in the
firm’s warehouse management software.
