• Insulating Fire
Bricks for use in application from 1260 °C to 1760
°C. Each type is formulated to meet specific thermal
and physical requirements and is precision-machined
to accurate tolerances after molding and firing.
Made form high purity refractory clays (plus alumina
for the higher temperature products), these
Insulating Fire Bricks contain a carefully graded
organic filler which is burned out during
manufacturing to give a uniform, controlled pore
structure.
• Mortars are also
available: Air-setting mortars are mixtures of
finely ground aggregates plus binders, supplied in
either a wet or a dry condition. The dry air-setting
mortars require a tempering with water to attain the
desired consistency:. Upon air drying, they set to a
good strength and form a very strong joint and an
almost monolithic structure of the brickwork.
